Short answer

Aleryos is a massively multiplayer online strategy game. You play an emperor developing an empire, planets, economy, technology and military power.

Useful detail

In Aleryos, your goal is to make your empire prosper. You start with a main planet, then gradually develop your buildings, research, resources and military capabilities.

To get off to a good start, focus first on the resource production buildings on your main planet: Iron Mine, Crystal Extractor and Aether Synthesizer. They increase your production and help you unlock the Research Center faster, then specialized buildings such as the Barracks, Training Institute and Shipyard.

This economic and technological base then lets you prepare your first colonizations quickly.

Colonizing early is important because each new planet greatly increases your development potential. The more planets you own, the more infrastructure you can build, the more resources you can produce, and the faster your empire can grow.

Remember to join an alliance early as well. Alliances provide significant bonuses, especially technology bonuses. They also let you interact with other players, coordinate your actions and compete with other communities in the game.

Your progression therefore rests on several core axes:

• develop your main planet;
• strengthen your Iron, Crystal and Aether production;
• unlock your first research, military and space buildings;
• colonize new planets;
• join an alliance;
• advance your technologies;
• gradually unlock the Shipyard, ground units, specialized devices and defenses.

Depending on your playstyle, you can then orient your empire differently. You can attack other players with your fleet, launch ground attacks through the Pillars, spy, trade, take part in PvP actions, or focus more on PvE.

In the long term, you are an expanding emperor. And if you progress far enough, you may one day become a Monarch.

Short answer

A fleet in flight is technically untouchable. The real risk is leaving it docked while you are away or not paying attention.

Useful detail

In Aleryos, there are no moons and no moon destruction. A fleet that is already in flight cannot be intercepted through that kind of mechanic.

In return, attacks can be very fast. Depending on distance and speed, a planet where your fleet remains docked can be attacked in less than 1 min 30 to 2 min. Stay attentive when your fleet is stationed on a planet.

To protect it, make it fly when you log out or when you cannot monitor your account. You can send it toward one of your own planets, or toward an external target depending on your goal.

To cover a longer absence, include a slow ship in the fleet. The fleet's overall speed depends on the slowest unit in the group, which lets you lengthen the travel time and adapt the flight to your inactivity window.

Also use the interstellar sensors: they let you see incoming and outgoing fleets, so you can react better when a fleet approaches or when an important movement is underway. In Settings > Server, you can hide enemy attacks that are still too far away; they automatically reappear as soon as they enter the selected time window.

Short answer

A large army should either be defended by an Iris or a sufficient force, or sheltered on a planet whose Pillars are disabled.

Useful detail

In Aleryos, your population can include assault units. These units are used to attack, but also to defend your planets against ground attacks.

The first method is to avoid leaving a large army on a poorly defended planet. If the planet is not protected by an active Iris, or if the army present is not strong enough to discourage an attack, you can become a target for one or more players.

The second method is to station your army on a planet whose Pillars are disabled. As long as the Pillars are disabled, that planet cannot receive a ground attack through the Pillars, which temporarily shelters your army.

To move your population to a planet protected by closed Pillars, use your fleet and ships with a Transport or Deployment mission. This lets you bring your units in when you are not using them, then send them back out when you need them.

You can also send your population to a trusted ally. They can hold it temporarily and make it available at the right moment, for example to prepare a shared alliance army.

Short answer

To protect your resources, you can spend them, load them into ships in flight, or temporarily entrust them to an ally able to protect them.

Useful detail

In Aleryos, you can suffer two types of attacks: space attacks and ground attacks. If resources, ships or population are available on a planet, another player can attack you to destroy or recover them depending on the attack type.

The most direct solution is to spend your resources before leaving, reducing what can be recovered.

The other method is to load them into ships and make that fleet fly. As long as the resources are in ships in flight, they are protected. Sending them toward one of your own planets is usually the simplest and most common way: your resources stay secured while remaining available when you return.

You can also temporarily entrust resources to an alliance member able to protect them.

Short answer

Create a model in the Shipyard first, then build or assemble your ships from the Assembly tab.

Useful detail

In Aleryos, you can create your own ship models and customize them to build fleets that match your goals.

To create a model, open the Shipyard, then Create a model. First choose an Infrastructure. It determines the ship's total volume, meaning the space available for components and the remaining cargo capacity.

Then add the model's components: Weapons, Hulls, Shields and Reactors. You are limited to one component type per family, but you can choose the quantities you want in each family as long as the model stays within its limits.

Shields cannot exceed the total resistance provided by the hull. Reactors are limited to 2 per ship, and a model's maximum raw speed is 5 000.

The more components you add, the lower the available cargo becomes. If components use all the volume, the model has no cargo capacity left. If you exceed the infrastructure's total volume, the model is rejected.

On missions, the game uses the fleet's total available cargo, not a separate hold for each ship. A model with little or no cargo may therefore need to be accompanied by other ships with cargo capacity to carry the fuel or useful mission load.

Once the model is saved, go to Shipyard, then Assembly. You can build ships directly with resources, or assemble them with components you have already created.

The number of ship models you can keep is limited. To increase this limit, improve the Infrastructure technology.

Short answer

A mining planet is a temporary world containing Iron, Crystal, or Aether that several players can exploit with an Orbital Drill and Miners.

Useful detail

Between 10 and 20 mining planets may be active at the same time. Each contains a single resource and appears with a stock equal to between 5 and 10 24-hour resource chests for that resource.

The galaxy does not reveal its contents. An espionage mission reveals the resource, remaining stock, estimated time before depletion, and the players present with their Drills, Miners, drilling rates, and planet occupancy.

The Orbital Drill is built under Specialized Devices. It requires Shipyard level 12, Infrastructure and Hull technologies level 10, and Orbital Drilling level 1.

A drilling mission carries exactly 1 Drill and up to 200 000 Miners. The Drill alone extracts 50 000 Iron-equivalent per hour, and each Miner adds 1,4 Iron-equivalent per hour. With 200 000 Miners, the total rate is:

• 330 000 Iron/h;
• 220 000 Crystal/h;
• 110 000 Aether/h.

The Miners’ drilling capacity is separate from their global production bonus on planets. The combined Drill and Miner rate then receives +8% per level from the resource technology: Iron Extraction, Crystal Extraction, or Aether Refining. This rate is snapshotted at launch, so an active mission keeps its original rate.

The Drill has a base hold of 18 000 000 units, improved by existing cargo bonuses. The mission occupies one fleet slot during the outbound flight, drilling, and return. Resources are credited only when the fleet arrives back at its origin planet.

Outside drilling, a Drill can be deployed alone between two of your planets, like a Recycler. It cannot carry Miners, cargo, or any other unit, and its visible hold remains reserved for fuel. This deployment can be recalled like an ordinary fleet.

The Orbital Drilling technology authorizes a first mission at level 2, followed by one additional simultaneous mission every two levels. A player may maintain only one active mission on the same mining planet, but several players may exploit that planet at the same time.

The fleet returns automatically when its hold is full or the planet is depleted. Manual recall remains possible.

A mining planet has no predetermined lifetime. It disappears only when its stock is depleted. A new planet usually appears after 120 to 240 minutes, or immediately if fewer than 10 mining planets remain active.

Short answer

Colonization is only possible via Pillars. You must send exactly 100 soldiers and 10 scientists to an unoccupied position.

Useful detail

The target must be an unoccupied slot. If another planet, player or bot already occupies this position, colonization fails.

100 soldiers and 10 scientists are consumed when colonization succeeds.

The standard limit is 10 colonies, plus your home planet. Certain artifacts can increase this limit.

Example

If you already have 10 colonies, you can no longer create a new one unless a colony limit bonus is active.

Short answer

Each colony receives random modifiers for Iron, Crystal and Aether upon creation.

Useful detail

The game draws separately:

• a total bonus ranging from +15,0% to +30,0%
• a total penalty ranging from -0,1% to -30,0%

These values are then randomly distributed among the three resources.

These modifiers change the effective base of the resource concerned before other production bonuses. An Iron +12,5% modifier therefore first increases the planet's Iron base, after which technologies, factions, alliances, packs, Miners and artifacts calculate their gains from this adjusted base.

A colony can therefore have:

• 2 resources with bonuses and 1 with a penalty
• 1 resource with a bonus and 2 with penalties
• 1 bonus, 1 penalty and 1 neutral resource

The displayed biome does not impose these modifiers. Two colonies in the same biome can therefore have very different production profiles.

Example

A colony can obtain:

• Iron +12,5%
• Crystal +4,4%
• Aether -6,1%

Another may have:

• Iron 0%
• Crystal +18,2%
• Aether -7,3%

Short answer

No, not directly.

Useful detail

The biome is currently mainly visual. Production modifiers are generated separately and do not depend on the biome.

The biome therefore serves to identify the planet, not to automatically determine its economic bonuses.

Example

Two Verdant planets can have opposite results:

• one with a bonus in Iron
• the other with a penalty in Iron and a bonus in Crystal

Short answer

Available space depends on the type of planet and its Terraformer level.

Useful detail

The basic capacity is:

• 240 slots for the home planet
• 180 to 240 slots for a colony, according to its initial draw

Then, each Terraformer level adds +10 slots.

Formula:

total slots = base slots + (Terraformer level × 10)

Example

If a colony starts with 192 slots and has a level 3 Terraformer, it has:

192 + (3 × 10) = 222 slots

A colony begins with its own starting resources and active Pillars.

When it is created, a colony receives:

Its Pillars are active by default.

Short answer

No. A pre-registered account does not produce resources until the account owner's first authorized access to the universe after it opens.

Useful detail

The account creation date remains the pre-registration date, but production clocks start on the first authorized owner access after the official opening.

There is therefore no retroactive catch-up between:

• pre-registration;
• official opening;
• the account owner's first authorized access.

Natural Iron, Crystal and Aether production, as well as passive Soldier and Weave Resonator production, begins with that first authorized access.

Example

If you pre-register the day before opening but first log in two hours after opening, your account does not receive two hours of free production.

Short answer

When enabled in a universe, galactic catch-up helps lagging empires progress faster through cost and duration reductions.

Useful detail

It is not a free resource package, nor retroactive production catch-up.

The game compares your empire with a reference calculated from the average total points of the 10 best eligible human players in the universe. If your score is below 75% of that reference, a progressive bonus may apply.

As your empire progresses and approaches the threshold, the bonus decreases. Once the threshold is reached, catch-up pauses as long as your empire remains above that limit.

Galactic catch-up can also increase the amount of debris obtained against Errants.

The bonus can reduce:

• building cost and duration;
• research cost and duration;
• the cost and duration of ships, defenses, ground units, components and specialized devices.

The maximum effect is -55% cost and -40% duration for buildings. Research receives 80% of that effect. For units, the maximum is -35% cost and -20% duration.

The bonus does not modify production, energy, fleet speed or queues already launched.

Example

If you join an already advanced universe, your first buildings and research may cost less and finish faster. However, you do not automatically receive the resources you would have produced before arriving.

Short answer

The normal limit is 10 colonies, in addition to the home planet.

Useful detail

Certain bonuses, notably the Border Throne Fragment artifact, can increase this limit:

• +1 colony max at level 5
• +2 colonies max at level 10

This brings the possible total to 11 or 12 colonies, or 12 or 13 planets counting the home planet.

Example

Without bonuses, you can have:

• 1 home planet
• 10 colonies
• for a total of 11 planets

With the artifact at level 10, you can reach:

• 1 home planet
• 12 colonies
• for a total of 13 planets

Short answer

Yes, but part of its recent natural production may be temporarily protected.

Useful detail

When a planet becomes inactive, its natural production of Iron, Crystal and Aether may enter a temporary sanctuary.

During the first 8 hours of inactivity, this natural production is neither visible to espionage nor lootable through an attack.

Once those 8 hours have passed, the protection ends: all production becomes visible and lootable normally again.

However, constructions, research, fleet returns, incoming transports and other direct credits continue to be applied normally.

Example

If you leave a planet for a few hours:

• it continues to produce
• you recover this production when you return
• but another player may not be able to see or loot it immediately

Short answer

Yes, but not instantly.

Useful detail

Abandoning a colony triggers a delay of 1 hour.

The home planet cannot be abandoned.

Certain situations also block abandonment, for example if a linked fleet is still active.

Example

If you initiate the abandonment of a secondary colony, it does not disappear immediately: it first enters a countdown.

During this countdown, you can still return to the colony and view its screens until the delay ends.

Short answer

A position is an address made of three coordinates: galaxy, system and position.

Useful detail

G:S:P identifies the galaxy, the system and the position inside that system. Galaxies are ordered in a linear, expandable universe. Within each galaxy, systems are distributed across several concentric areas from the core to the outskirts. A system number is an identifier, not a direct measure of proximity. Planetary positions are located inside systems; the rings organize systems, not planets. S50 is neither the center of the galaxy nor a mandatory transit point.

Short answer

A fleet makes a space journey with a travel time and an Aether cost. Pillars project ground units by spending RT.

Useful detail

A fleet takes into account the route, the slowest relevant unit, the selected speed percentage, ship consumption and the reductions active at launch. Pillars use the same geography, but their cost depends on distance and projected ground population. Their missions are instantaneous, except Exploration, which has its own duration.

Short answer

Distance depends on the actual positions of the origin and destination in the universe.

Useful detail

Within one system, distance depends on the gap between planetary positions. Within one galaxy, it depends on the geographical placement of systems across the concentric areas. Between galaxies, it increases progressively with their separation and also accounts for the local positions of both systems. System numbers alone do not reveal distance. Nearby galaxies remain accessible, while long crossings become progressively more significant without growing in a purely linear way. Distance is identical in both directions, and opening a new galaxy never moves existing systems or changes previous distances.

Travel time depends on distance, route type and the fleet's effective speed.

Useful detail

Effective speed includes the slowest unit involved in the mission, the selected speed percentage, applicable speed bonuses and universe settings. The route category distinguishes travel within one system, between systems in the same galaxy and between galaxies. A longer route increases travel time, while a faster fleet or a higher speed percentage reduces it. The server calculates and locks the duration at launch. A minimum duration prevents instant space travel.

Short answer

Because the speed used for the journey is that of the slowest unit in the group.

Useful detail

The engine iterates over all units sent and retains the lowest positive speed found.

This value becomes the reference speed for the entire fleet.

For certain missions, the calculation only considers the ships involved in that mission:

• Transport
• Deployment

For Deployment, some authorized autonomous recyclers may also be taken into account.

Example

Adding a very slow craft to a fast fleet immediately increases the travel time for the entire group.

Short answer

The speed percentage lets you choose between an earlier arrival and lower consumption.

Useful detail

Reducing it increases travel time and lowers the part of consumption linked to speed. It does not change the route distance or each ship's own consumption rate. This setting can be used to adjust arrival time or save Aether.

Short answer

Consumption depends on the ships sent, the route, the speed percentage and the reductions active at launch.

Useful detail

Each ship has its own consumption. For a custom model, its empty infrastructure and components contribute to that value. Player-built custom models use their own consumption curve, while Recyclers I and II use a lower specialized rate. Cargo does not increase consumption. Long intergalactic routes carry extra economic weight, so crossing several galaxies costs proportionally more than a local trip with the same fleet. Speed percentage lowers route consumption, while Aether Efficiency, alliance, artifact and faction reductions combine together. The cost is locked at launch. Missions that can return reserve outbound and return fuel; space Espionage is one-way and the Space Probe is destroyed at destination.

Allowed content depends on the mission type.

Useful detail

For a space mission, not everything can be sent in every situation.

Important rules:

• Astrium can never be transported by mission;
• non-infrastructure ship components can be sent by fleet in Transport or Deployment to one of your own planets;
• ship infrastructure components remain prohibited in transport and deployment;
• recyclers are refused in Transport;
• recyclers are authorized in Deployment, including alone;
• at another player's planet, a fleet Deployment must contain only recyclers, with no ships, units, components, or cargo.

For a space Transport, the population actually delivered uses the manifest planned for that mission.

Example

A fleet may be valid for Deployment but refused for Transport if it contains recyclers.

Short answer

A recall cancels the outbound trip, calculates the unused Aether pro rata, and creates a return. The credit is applied only when that return arrives. A spatial espionage mission cannot be recalled.

Useful detail

When a recall is accepted:

• the outbound trip is canceled;
• the unused Aether is calculated pro rata, without an immediate credit;
• a Return mission is created.
• the calculated amount is credited to the planet of origin when that return arrives.

The return reuses the actual duration already traveled during the outbound trip. A mission that reaches its destination and then returns normally has used its entire reserve and therefore returns no fuel.

For a personal Deployment that has reached its destination, the unused return trip is returned to the target planet. For a deployment at another player's planet that has reached its destination, this remainder is lost so that it does not become a commercial transfer. A recalled Mining mission returns the remainder on the return trip; after it arrives at the mining planet, it no longer returns any fuel.

Exception: a Space Probe makes a one-way trip. Its Espionage mission cannot be recalled and therefore creates no return or refund.

An Emergency Evacuation remains pending until recalled. Its return time at fixed speed 1 250 is calculated by the server using the same navigation version as the original battle; it consumes no Aether and refunds none.

Example

With a reserve of 2 000 Aether, a recall after 25% of the outbound trip carries 1 500 Aether as a refund, credited only when the return lands.

Short answer

Pillars allow instantaneous ground projections, but with a cost in RT.

Useful detail

Unlike fleets, Pillars are not based on a classic space journey with Aether consumption and visible flight time.

Their logic is different:

• movement is instantaneous on the gameplay side;
• cost depends on destination;
• this cost is paid in RT;
• the server always recalculates this cost authoritatively.

Exploration is the only case that follows its own duration instead of instantaneous processing.

Example

A Transport via Pillars does not work like a space convoy: the main issue is not travel time, but projection cost.

Short answer

The cost depends on projection distance and the ground population sent.

Useful detail

Pillars use the same geography as fleets. A local projection costs less than a distant intergalactic projection, and long routes receive additional weight. Distance and projected ground population form two distinct cost components. Specialized devices, resources, and components do not count as ground population. Reductions from Energy technology, the Pillar Concordance alliance technology, the Sleeping Pillars Seal, and the faction are combined for the projection cost. Transported RT is added separately and does not benefit from the reduction applied to the activation cost. Distance changes the RT cost, not the normal duration, which remains instantaneous outside Exploration.

Pillars have their own transport rules.

Useful detail

Public rules:

• resonateurTrame is only allowed on Transport and Deployment;
• in Pillars Exploration, ground units are allowed;
• among the special units for Pillars Exploration, only Small Transporter and Large Transporter are allowed.

The projection cost in RT is always recalculated by the server and is added to any RT that may be transported.

Example

A mission can be valid in Pillars Transport and refused in Pillars Exploration if it contains an unauthorized special unit.

Short answer

Final validation is always up to the server.

Useful detail

The server can still refuse a mission if:

• the target is invalid;
• the mission type does not match the target type;
• a required pact does not exist for a Transport or a Deployment between players;
• a period of 6 hours after a pact breach blocks an Attack or Espionage;
• the manifest contains units or quantities prohibited for this mission.

Pre-validation on the interface side helps prepare for departure, but it never replaces authoritative validation.

Example

A mission may appear ready in the interface but then be refused at launch if the target is no longer valid or if a diplomatic restriction applies.

The game distinguishes resources, passive productions and units.

Useful detail

The actual resources are:

• Iron, Crystal and Aether, which are the three main economic resources of each planet;
• Energy, which is a planetary balance and not a stored resource;
• Astrium, which is a global empire resource with no storage cap.

In addition to these resources, there are also:

• Weave Resonators, which serve as special energy to activate the Pillars;
• Soldiers, which are the basic ground troop produced passively by the Barracks.

Example

You can run out of Energy without running out of Aether: one measures the functioning of your planet, while the other is a resource that you store and spend.

Short answer

Production depends on buildings, active bonuses and elapsed time.

The server credits production according to the formula:

gain = hourly production × elapsed time

The planet's hourly production depends on:

• mines;
• a basic minimum production;
• technologies;
• planet modifiers;
• alliance bonuses;
• packs;
• Miners;
• production artifacts.

The basic minimum natural production is:

• 30 Iron
• 30 Crystal
• 30 Aether

before global production multipliers.

Bonuses are not multiplied one after another. Each is calculated on the basic mine line: mine after adjustment, energy efficiency and the planet's minimum production.

Example

Even a poorly developed planet continues to produce a minimum of natural resources.

Each production building follows a formula per level, then applies a multiplier specific to its role.

Useful detail

The calculation basis is:

level × 1,1^level

Then each building applies its multiplier:

• Iron Mine: × 33

• Power Plant: × 30 in energy, based on level × 1,16^(level - 1)

Mines also consume Energy:

• Iron Mine: -11
• Crystal Extractor: -11
• Aether Synthesizer: -22

The Impulse Power Plant produces Energy, but also consumes Aether. Its energy production follows 38 × level × 1,185^(level - 1), while its Aether consumption applies 12,5 × level × 1,08^(level - 1) and the universe's production speed: in a x8 universe, it is multiplied by 8. If the planet's Aether stock is 0, the plant produces no Energy.

Example

An Impulse Power Plant can greatly improve your energy balance while reducing your net Aether gain if it is running at full speed.

Short answer

Energy cannot be stored. It measures the balance between what your power plants produce and what your mines consume.

Useful detail

The game calculates:

• Energy produced by power plants;
• Energy consumed by mines;
• then the difference between the two.

If the planet produces enough Energy, it operates at 100% efficiency.

If it is lacking, mine production is slowed according to an efficiency coefficient:

efficiency = energy produced / energy consumed

with a minimum of 0.

The less your planet covers its energy needs, the more its mines lose efficiency.

Example

If your planet only produces half the Energy needed, its mines run at about 50% of their output.

Short answer

Yes. Each mine and power station can be set individually from 0% to 100%.

Useful detail

The setting scales proportionally:

• on building production;
• on its associated consumption.

This allows a planet to be better balanced, particularly in the event of a lack of Energy.

Example

Switching an Iron Mine from 100% to 50% reduces both its production and its consumption of Energy.

Short answer

Production can be increased by planetary modifiers, technologies, the alliance, packs, Miners and certain artifacts.

Useful detail

Bonuses applied to Iron, Crystal and Aether include:

• the planet's modifiers;
• specialized production technologies;
• the alliance production bonus;
• faction skills that enhance production or energy;
• the pack bonus;
• the Miners: +0,00020% per unit, up to +200% per planet with 1 000 000 Miners;
• artifacts that enhance production.

Energy also follows its own technological bonus.

Planetary modifiers are first applied to the resource base: mine after adjustment, energy efficiency, and the planet's minimum production. Other bonuses are then additive: each source adds effective base × bonus percentage. Energy bonuses follow the same logic for power station production, while Aether consumption by the Impulse Power Plant remains separate, follows the universe production multiplier, is not enhanced, and does not apply when the Aether stock is at 0.

Notable rules:

• Emperor: +20% production;
• Monarch: +60% production;
• both active at the same time: +80%.

Example

Two planets with the same buildings can produce very differently if one has more bonuses.

Short answer

Iron, Crystal and Aether each have their own storage building.

Useful detail

Basic capacities:

• Iron Hangar: 60 000 × 2^level
• Crystal Hangar: 40 000 × 2^level
• Aether Tank: 30 000 × 2^level

The natural production of each resource is limited by this capacity.

Example

A level 3 Iron Hangar gives:

60 000 × 2^3 = 480 000

of Iron storage capacity.

Short answer

When a resource reaches its normal capacity, its natural production stops. Beyond 125%, any additional surplus is lost.

Useful detail

The system applies three rules:

• under normal capacity, production continues;
• from normal capacity: additional natural production is cut off;
• beyond 125% of capacity: any additional excess is lost.

This extended ceiling is mainly used when a resource exceeds its capacity through a transfer, reward or other direct contribution.

Example

The elements currently linked to the premium shop include, among other things:

• the Resource Chest;
• the Universal Fragment;

When a player is on your blacklist:

The direct channel can still be created or opened. If the blocked player tries to send a message in it, the message is refused and they see: Vous êtes sur la liste noire de <pseudo>.

Group and alliance channels remain accessible, but messages from the blocked player are hidden from you.
