Event Debris Fields

This page explains how to find and recycle event debris fields, along with the constraints on the corresponding missions.

Finding Event Debris Fields

It is a temporary debris field created by an active event.

While the event is active, debris fields can appear in systems on the map for a limited time.

They are recycled using the Recycling mission described in Recycling Mission, but display a badge and a timer in the galaxy.

Their location is not announced: you must find them by navigating the galaxy. Beacons indicate their presence in a system; select that system to see their exact positions and details in the side panel.

Once you know the coordinates, you can still send your recyclers directly from Fleets > Recycling without reopening the galaxy.

Expiration Before the Recycler Arrives

The mission returns without collecting any resources.

The event debris field must still exist when the mission arrives.

If the timer expires before the mission arrives, the recycler collects nothing, even if another normal debris field later appears at the same coordinates.

Recycler Limit per Mission

Each event debris field may have a recycler limit per mission.

The limit applies to each mission sent to that field. Recycler I and Recycler II each count as 1 toward the limit.

You can send missions to several different fields if you find them, but you cannot exceed the limit on a single mission.

You cannot have multiple active missions to the same event debris field at the same time. Once a mission has fully returned, you can launch another one if the field still exists.
