Missions, Daily Quests, and Rewards

Daily, weekly, and monthly missions track actions once they resolve. Daily quests have a board, acceptance and refresh rules, rewards based on difficulty, and precise completion criteria.

Role of Periodic Missions

Periodic missions reward regular activity. They require actions such as logging in, exploring, attacking, spying, building, making alliance donations, trading, recycling, or using items. They are available in daily, weekly, and monthly versions.

Automatic Tracking

The server automatically tracks the relevant actions and increments progress when an eligible action is resolved. Players do not need to declare a mission manually; they complete the requested action.

Mission and Tutorial Rewards

Rewards can include chests, fragments, Astrium, faction experience, Echoes, or Iris.

Examples:

  • individual daily mission: 5 Astrium and 5 XP;
  • individual weekly mission: 15 Astrium and 15 XP;
  • individual monthly mission: 25 Astrium and 25 XP;
  • tutorial mission: 15 XP;
  • tutorial chapter reward: 100 XP;
  • daily global bonus: resource chest, 3 Echoes, and 20 XP;
  • weekly global bonus: chests, universal fragment, 9 Echoes, and 140 XP;
  • monthly global bonus: chest, fragments, Iris, 25 Echoes, and 500 XP.

Quest Acceptance and Renewal

Each UTC day, you see 9 quest cards. You can accept 5 per day and have 2 occupied at the same time.

The draw refreshes starting at 00:00 UTC. A card that is still active, completed but unclaimed, expired, or already claimed keeps its slot until the next applicable draw.

You can refresh up to 3 available cards per day. Refreshing keeps the difficulty but changes the quest type. A board contains at most one card from the Exploration family and one from the Combat family, including after a refresh.

Quests cannot be abandoned. For quest duration and claiming rewards after success, see Rewards by Difficulty.

Rewards by Difficulty

Rewards depend only on difficulty:

  • Green: 2h, 200 XP faction, 1 Echo;
  • Blue: 4h, 400 XP faction, 2 Echoes;
  • Violet: 8h, 700 XP faction, 3 Echoes.

The reward is granted only after the quest is completed and claimed manually using the claim button.

When Does an Action Count Toward a Quest?

An action counts when it resolves during the quest's active window. This window begins when the quest is accepted: an action started beforehand can count if it resolves after acceptance and before expiration. Starting an action alone never validates a card.

For hourly objectives involving exploration and Digging, the selected durations of each completed mission are added together; an evacuated Digging mission does not count. An orbital drilling operation counts only when it returns naturally with a full cargo hold or a depleted planet, never after a manual recall.

At the Federation Market, a trade counts after both convoys have resolved. With the Vellambre Trading Post, only a successful atomic trade counts, not the contact.

For percentage objectives, the baseline is captured when the quest is accepted. Exploration gain objectives require 0,125%, 0,25%, or 0,625% of total points converted to Iron value, depending on difficulty.
