The in-game shop offers consumables, bundles, premium bundles, and cosmetics. The game sets a spending limit to maintain balance between players who pay and those who do not, while allowing the game to grow.
Astrium is a global special currency.
It cannot be transported by fleet, looted, or counted toward points.
It is used in particular for certain purchases, items, packs, or upgrades, depending on the systems available.
Astrium can be purchased if the store is open to the player.
Astrium purchases are made through secure external payment.
Astrium packs can be purchased multiple times. A pending payment reservation temporarily prevents a second payment for the same pack from being initiated until the first attempt is confirmed, fails, or expires.
Astrium is credited only after payment is confirmed.
The store catalog is controlled server-side.
If a price changes between display and confirmation, the purchase may be refused to avoid a discrepancy between the price shown and the price actually applied.
The premium shop lets players obtain packs and items by spending Astrium. The I have a code button opens the premium gift-code entry form.
A premium purchase made with Astrium grants the item displayed before confirmation: the game shows the item being purchased, its Astrium price, and its main effects. It does not rely on hidden probabilities, a paid random chest, or a paid loot box.
Premium gift codes are not purchases: the player enters a code, previews the rewards server-side, then confirms claiming them if the code is still eligible. A code can be used only once per Central account, according to its scope, dates, quota, and configured conditions.
The items currently linked to the premium shop include, among others:
Emperor and Monarch packs;Iris of the Pillars;Resource Chest;Universal Fragment;Empire's Rise chests, each purchasable once and in order;Shop > Cosmetics;During its initial rollout phase, the Planetary Teleporter is not sold in the shop: it can only be obtained through compatible loot and rewards.
Some items are added to the inventory after purchase and then need to be used from the appropriate interface. Monarch and Emperor packs directly activate a temporary premium status. Conversely, each Empire's Rise tier adds a sealed chest to the inventory: once its opening is confirmed, ordinary items are credited to the inventory and Excavation or Forge rewards to their dedicated stocks. Each of the twenty premium avatars costs 2 500 Astrium. Their ownership is permanent, and each is equipped separately in the relevant universe. The twelve free portraits and custom portraits are shared across your universes; an equipped premium avatar remains in place until you choose another portrait in that universe. Purchased premium avatars, frames, and banners become permanently owned, but are not activated automatically: you must then select and save them from Settings > Cosmetics.
The eight planet skins available each cost 1 500 Astrium. A skin purchase is permanent in the relevant universe and can be used on all your planets in that universe. Buying a skin does not equip it automatically. In the overview, use the planet customization button to choose an owned skin, then apply your choice. Each planet keeps its own choice; changing its skin or returning to the standard appearance is free. The skin does not change the planet's biome, resources, or characteristics.
If you buy a Universal Fragment, it is added to your inventory; for how to use it, see the article on artifacts. If you buy an avatar frame or profile banner, the cosmetic becomes available to choose from. A Monarch or Emperor pack activates its bonuses for the planned duration; an Empire's Rise chest stays closed in the inventory until you choose to open it.
