Trading Resources and Items Between Players

The answers describe the deliveries recorded in the trade log, the missions involved, and the items considered in an exchange.

Recording Trade Deliveries

Trade is driven by actual deliveries between players.

Manual trading is not part of the product flow. The server automatically records exchanges when an inter-player mission of Transport or Deployment delivers something. The pact conditions for these transfers are explained in the next section.

The trade log then records:

  • the sending player;
  • the partner;
  • the mission type;
  • the vector used, fleet or Pillars;
  • the delivered contents;
  • the commercial value in Iron equivalent.

Pacts Required for Transfers

Outside the alliance family, an inter-player transfer by fleet or Pillars requires an active commercial or total pact. To learn how these pacts differ, see Types of pacts between players. This rule applies to Transport missions or recycler-only spatial Deployment missions; it does not apply to members of the same alliance or to members of the primary-secondary pair.

For a spatial Deployment to another player, only recyclers may be stationed. Without a valid pact, the server refuses the mission.

Items That Can Be Traded Between Players

Trading is limited to items permitted by the system.

The commercial catalog includes:

  • Resources;
  • Specialized devices;
  • Populations.

Astrium is not included in trading between players.
