This document presents the terms of use applicable to access to and use of Aleryos.
1. Purpose
These Terms of Use govern access to the Aleryos website, game, and services.
Aleryos is a multiplayer online real-time space strategy game in a persistent universe.
The Terms of Use set the general framework for using the service. The detailed rules on gameplay, conduct, the use of multiple accounts, trade, war, moderation, and sanctions are specified in the game rules.
2. Publisher
The Aleryos service is published by:
Rémy Vahé, sole proprietor, operating under the trade name GeekoS Nexus.
- SIREN: 812 794 501.
- SIRET: 812 794 501 00039.
- Business address: Rue Lt-col Joseph Zanardi, 11100 Narbonne, France.
- E-mail address: [email protected].
- VAT: VAT not applicable under article 293 B of the French General Tax Code.
3. Acceptance
Creating an account, logging into the game, or using the service constitutes acceptance of these Terms of Use.
If the user refuses all or part of these Terms of Use, they must not create an account, log into the game, or use Aleryos services.
The publisher may require the user to renew their acceptance in the event of a substantial modification of the Terms of Use, the Terms of Sale, the game rules, or the privacy policy.
4. Applicable documents
Use of Aleryos is governed by:
- these Terms of Use;
- the game rules;
- the Terms of Sale applicable to Astrium purchases;
- the privacy policy;
- the cookie policy;
- any specific conditions for events, test universes, preproduction environments, or clearly announced experimental phases.
In the event of a conflict, the specific conditions applicable to a feature, an event, a clearly announced test phase, or a purchase take precedence over the general conditions for the matter concerned.
Some features may include an internal shop allowing Astrium to be used to obtain digital content or services displayed in-game. Astrium purchases and the use of Astrium in the internal shop are governed by the Terms of Sale.
5. Access to the service
Access to Aleryos requires a compatible device, an internet connection, a current web browser, and the creation of a player account.
The publisher may change the technical specifications necessary for the operation of the game. The user remains responsible for their hardware, internet connection, software, device security, and internet access costs.
The service may be temporarily unavailable in the event of maintenance, updates, technical incidents, overload, attack, provider issues, or security needs.
6. Minimum age and minors
Aleryos is intended for users aged at least 16.
Minors aged 16 to 17 must use the service with the authorization of their legal representative.
Any Astrium purchase made by a minor requires the prior agreement of their legal representative.
The publisher may require an account to be closed or restrict certain features when it appears that the user does not meet the required age or does not have the necessary permissions.
7. Player account
To play Aleryos, the user must create an account by providing the requested information, including a valid e-mail address, a password, and a username.
The user undertakes to provide accurate information, keep it up to date, and not impersonate a third party.
The user is responsible for the confidentiality of their credentials and for all actions carried out from their account, unless there is proof of fault attributable to the publisher.
The Aleryos account is personal and non-transferable. Sharing, selling, lending, renting, exchanging, or transferring an account is prohibited except with the publisher's explicit written authorization.
8. Fair use and game rules
The user undertakes to use Aleryos fairly, in compliance with the Terms of Use and the game rules, and with respect for other players, moderation teams, and the balance of the service.
In particular, cheating, exploitation of bugs, unauthorized use of multiple accounts, use of scripts or bots, technical attacks against the service, unauthorized access to data or interfaces, harassment, unlawful content, and any behavior intended to circumvent rules or sanctions are prohibited.
The game rules detail the operational rules applicable to accounts, alliances, communications, battles, exchanges, abuse, sanctions, and prohibited behavior.
9. Moderation and sanctions
The publisher may moderate, hide, delete, retain as evidence, or transmit to the competent authorities content and behavior contrary to the Terms of Use, the game rules, or the law.
Moderation may be carried out manually, automatically, or in a hybrid manner.
The publisher may take proportionate measures, including: warning, content deletion, chat limitation, removal of a benefit, freezing of resources, temporary suspension, ban, account closure, or reporting to the competent authorities.
The user may challenge a sanction by e-mail at [email protected] or via the channel provided by support, by setting out the facts and providing the relevant information.
10. Intellectual property and user content
All content produced by the publisher in Aleryos belongs to the publisher or its rights holders: code, databases, interfaces, texts, names, universe, factions, resources, illustrations, ships, buildings, characters, sounds, mechanics, game systems, lore, and documentation.
The user receives only a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to access the service and use the game's features in compliance with the Terms of Use.
The user retains their rights to the original content they publish when it is protected by an intellectual property right. By publishing content in Aleryos, the user authorizes the publisher to host it, reproduce it, display it, moderate it, delete it, and make it accessible to other users for the needs of the service.
11. Official version, availability, and evolution of the service
Aleryos is operated as an official version as of 24/06/2026.
Aleryos remains an evolving online game. The service may receive fixes, balancing changes, updates, maintenance, temporary suspensions, rule changes, or feature updates.
The publisher may modify, suspend, or temporarily remove a feature to ensure game balance, security, stability, legal compliance, or improvement of the service.
These changes do not constitute a permanent beta phase and do not allow the publisher to treat full resets as part of the ordinary operation of the official service.
Test universes, preproduction environments, experimental phases, special events, or trial features may be offered separately. When they involve specific rules, reset risks, or special conditions, they must be announced as such.
Unless otherwise provided in the Terms of Sale, free resources, in-game resources, rankings, items obtained for free, non-purchased benefits, and progress made in a test universe or experimental phase do not constitute vested rights.
Real-money purchases of Astrium and the use of Astrium in the internal shop are governed by the Terms of Sale.
12. Closure of the account or the service
The user may request closure of their account by contacting support at [email protected] or via the interface provided for that purpose.
Closing the account does not automatically result in a refund of purchases already completed, except where otherwise required by law, in the event of a lack of conformity, an error attributable to the publisher, or a commercial decision by the publisher.
To maintain the proper functioning of the universes, the publisher may automatically close an inactive game account according to the following thresholds, calculated based on the account's effective point total:
- 0 points: after 2 days of inactivity;
- from 1 to 49 points: after 7 days of inactivity;
- from 50 to 999 points: after 14 days of inactivity;
- from 1 000 to 9 999 points: after 21 days of inactivity.
Accounts with at least 10 000 points are not subject to this automatic procedure.
Any identity that has completed a real-money purchase of Astrium in the relevant universe is permanently excluded from this automatic removal, even if the purchased Astrium was subsequently spent.
This protection does not prevent voluntary closure requested by the user, a sanction for fraud or violation of these Terms of Use, or closure required by a legal obligation.
Inactivity is determined based on the last activity recorded by the service, including logins and game sessions.
The publisher may terminate all or part of the Aleryos service, particularly in the event of the project being discontinued or due to technical, economic, legal, or security constraints. Where reasonably possible, the publisher informs users before the definitive closure of the service.
13. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for indirect damages, loss of opportunity, loss of progress, loss of ranking, loss of free virtual resources, loss of in-game reputation, temporary interruptions, technical incompatibilities, or consequences related to non-compliant use of the service.
This clause does not limit the consumer's mandatory rights, the statutory guarantee of conformity applicable to paid digital content and services, or the publisher's liability in the event of gross negligence, willful misconduct, or bodily injury.
14. Amendments to the Terms of Use
The publisher may amend the Terms of Use to reflect changes to the service, applicable law, service providers, moderation practices, the business model, or technical constraints.
Significant amendments are brought to users' attention by any appropriate means. Use of the service after being informed constitutes acceptance of the new Terms of Use, unless the user objects or closes the account under the conditions provided.
15. Language, Applicable Law, and Disputes
These Terms of Use are governed by French law.
The published French version constitutes the reference version. Versions published in other languages are translations of that version.
In the event of ambiguity, discrepancy, or difficulty of interpretation between a translation and the French version, the French version should be consulted, without depriving the consumer of the mandatory protections applicable in the country of their habitual residence.
In the event of a dispute, the user is invited to contact support in order to seek an amicable solution.
Where the user acts as a consumer, the choice of French law does not deprive them of the more protective mandatory provisions applicable in the country of their habitual residence. Nothing in these Terms of Use limits any court jurisdiction, remedy, or protection available to the consumer under applicable mandatory law.
