Terms of Sale — Aleryos

The official text governs Astrium purchases, payments, digital delivery, withdrawal, refunds, and commercial disputes.

The Terms of Sale may change to reflect the state of the service, payment methods, or the Astrium offer. Any important change will be reflected by an update to this page.

This translation is provided for information purposes only; the French version prevails until an official legal review is completed.

This document presents the terms of sale applicable to purchases made on Aleryos.

1. Purpose

These terms of sale, hereinafter the "CGV", govern purchases made on Aleryos.

As of the publication date, the commercial offer is based on the direct purchase of Astrium, an in-game virtual unit.

Astrium may then be used in the Aleryos internal shop to obtain digital content or services displayed in-game, including packs, items, advantages, or similar content.

Purchases made in Astrium are deterministic: the purchased content, its price in Astrium, and its essential effects must be displayed before validation by the player.

Aleryos does not offer:

  • paid subscriptions;
  • automatic renewal;
  • paid random items;
  • a chest, draw, or mechanism comparable to a paid lootbox;
  • conversion of Astrium or a virtual item into real money.

2. Seller

3. Access to the game and capacity to purchase

Aleryos is intended for players aged at least 16.

The purchase of Astrium is reserved:

  • for adult users;
  • or for minor users who have the authorization of their legal representative.

The user declares that they have the legal capacity necessary to make a purchase or, if they are a minor, that they have obtained the authorization of their legal representative.

4. Definition of Astrium

Astrium is an internal virtual unit in Aleryos. It provides access, in the game, to digital content or services displayed as purchasable with Astrium.

Astrium:

  • is not legal tender;
  • is not a currency in the financial sense;
  • is not a crypto-asset;
  • is not an external payment instrument;
  • is not an investment;
  • does not generate any interest;
  • is not convertible into euros or any other currency;
  • is not transferable outside the game;
  • cannot be sold, exchanged, or converted between players outside the mechanisms authorized by Aleryos.

The purchase of Astrium grants only a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to use this virtual unit within the Aleryos service.

5. Prices

Astrium purchase prices are displayed in euros. The prices of content or services offered in the internal shop are displayed in Astrium before validation.

As the publisher benefits from the VAT exemption regime, the notice "TVA non applicable, article 293 B du CGI" applies to sales made as long as this tax regime remains applicable.

Before validation of the order, the player must be able to review the total price, the quantity of Astrium purchased or spent, the beneficiary account, and the essential conditions of the purchase.

The publisher may change prices at any time. The applicable price is the one displayed at the time the order is validated.

6. Payment

Payments are made via third-party payment providers. As of the publication date, the purchase of Astrium is processed via Stripe Checkout.

The user may pay by the means offered in the order interface, according to the technical availability of Stripe and associated providers.

The publisher does not directly store complete bank card data. Payment data are processed by the payment providers in accordance with their own terms and privacy policies.

The order is considered validated after effective confirmation of payment by the payment provider.

In the event of payment refusal, error, cancellation, technical failure, or suspicion of fraud, the order may be canceled or suspended.

7. Order validation

Before any payment, the player must explicitly confirm their order.

The final validation button must clearly indicate that the order entails an obligation to pay, for example "Pay now" or any equivalent unambiguous wording.

The order summary must indicate at minimum:

  • the quantity of Astrium purchased;
  • the price in euros;
  • the beneficiary account;
  • the chosen payment method;
  • the applicable VAT notice;
  • the request for immediate performance of the digital purchase and acknowledgment of the loss of the right of withdrawal after the Astrium is credited.

8. Digital delivery

Unless otherwise stated, purchased Astrium is delivered immediately after effective confirmation of payment, by crediting the relevant player account.

The player must verify that the connected account is the one on which they wish to receive the Astrium.

In the event of non-crediting, partial crediting, double payment, or manifest error, the player must contact support at [email protected] and provide the relevant information: date, amount, account e-mail address, Stripe reference, confirmation screenshot, and description of the problem.

9. Right of withdrawal

Astrium is digital content credited immediately to the player account after payment confirmation.

For this reason, no Astrium purchase is authorized unless the player expressly requests immediate performance of the digital purchase and acknowledges the loss of their right of withdrawal after the Astrium is credited.

Before payment, the player must tick an unchecked box confirming:

I request the immediate performance of my digital purchase and I acknowledge that once Astrium has been credited to my Aleryos account, I lose my right of withdrawal.

If this box is not ticked, the purchase is refused.

10. Model withdrawal form

Where the right of withdrawal remains applicable, the consumer may use the model form below or any unambiguous statement expressing their intention to withdraw.

The request must be sent to [email protected] or by post to the publisher's business address.

Where the right of withdrawal has been validly lost after immediate performance, the withdrawal request cannot succeed, unless there is a commercial agreement by the publisher or a contrary legal obligation.

11. Refunds

No automatic refund is due solely because Astrium has been credited and the player has consumed it, provided that the player requested immediate performance and acknowledged the loss of their right of withdrawal.

A refund may be granted notably in the following cases:

  • payment charged but Astrium not credited;
  • involuntary double payment;
  • manifest error attributable to the publisher;
  • lack of conformity of the paid digital content;
  • established fraudulent purchase;
  • applicable legal obligation;
  • commercial decision by the publisher.

The refund is made, where possible, via the same payment method as the one used for the purchase.

The publisher may refuse an abusive or fraudulent refund, a refund inconsistent with effective consumption of the content, or a refund contrary to these CGV, without prejudice to the consumer's mandatory rights.

12. Disputed payment, opposition, and fraud

In the event of a disputed payment, bank opposition, chargeback, fraud, unauthorized use of a payment method, or payment anomaly, the publisher may:

  • temporarily suspend the Astrium credit;
  • remove Astrium obtained improperly;
  • block purchases;
  • suspend the account;
  • request supporting documents;
  • close the account in the event of proven fraud;
  • transmit the relevant information to the payment provider or the competent authorities.

The player is invited to contact support before initiating a bank dispute when the issue can be resolved through a technical correction or a simple refund.

13. Use of Astrium

Astrium may be used only in Aleryos, for content or services displayed in the official interfaces.

The use of Astrium may allow the acquisition of packs, items, advantages, accelerations, digital content, or services offered in the internal shop.

Astrium purchases are not random. No Astrium purchase must be based on a draw, hidden probability, paid chest, or paid lootbox.

Use of Astrium may be immediate, final, or subject to specific conditions depending on the item purchased in-game.

The user must verify the item, quantity, price in Astrium, essential effects, and any specific conditions before validation.

Except in the event of manifest error, bug, lack of conformity, or commercial decision by the publisher, Astrium spending voluntarily validated in the game is not refundable.

14. Beta, reset, and official release

During the beta, Aleryos may be subject to resets, corrections, major changes, balancing, temporary closures, partial wipes, or full wipes.

Upon the official release of Aleryos after the beta, Astrium purchased with real money during the beta and effectively paid for will be re-credited to the player on their account, within the limits of verified and non-refunded purchases.

Free Astrium, promotional Astrium, Astrium granted in-game, Astrium offered for events, or Astrium granted on a commercial basis does not entitle the player to automatic re-crediting.

In-game resources, rankings, fleets, buildings, technologies, planets, free items, and beta progress do not constitute vested rights and may be reset.

These rules do not affect the consumer's mandatory rights.

Paid digital content and services provided by Aleryos benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity applicable to digital content and services, under the conditions provided for by the Code de la consommation.

In the event of a lack of conformity, the consumer may request that the digital content or service be brought into conformity. Where bringing into conformity is impossible, delayed, disproportionate, or unsuccessful, the consumer may benefit, depending on the case, from a price reduction or termination of the contract.

This guarantee applies without cost to the consumer, within the limits and conditions provided by law.

16. Suspension, ban, and purchases

The fact of having made purchases does not protect the player against the sanctions provided for by the CGU and the game rules.

In the event of account suspension or ban for serious breach, fraud, cheating, abuse, harassment, exploitation of a flaw, or violation of the CGU, the user cannot automatically demand a refund of purchases already completed and consumed.

This clause does not deprive the consumer of their legal rights, particularly in the event of lack of conformity or error attributable to the publisher.

17. Customer support

For any question relating to a purchase, payment, refund, crediting error, Stripe issue, or shop incident, the user may contact support: [email protected].

The message must contain the relevant information: account identifier, account e-mail address, order date, amount, payment method, transaction reference, screenshot or receipt, and description of the problem.

18. Consumer mediation

In the event of a dispute relating to a purchase, the user is invited to send a prior complaint to support at [email protected] in order to seek an amicable solution.

As of the publication date of these CGV, Aleryos has not appointed a consumer mediator.

If this position changes, these CGV will be updated with the contact details of the competent mediator.

19. Applicable law and disputes

These CGV are governed by French law.

Before any action, the user is invited to contact support in order to seek an amicable solution.

The consumer's mandatory rights remain applicable.
